Role and responsibilities
- The secretary is responsible to the KCNZ Board to ensure efficient records of Board meetings and procedures are maintained.
Specific Tasks
- Ensure that all Board members are kept informed of impending meetings and are available.
- Ensure that all minutes recorded at meetings are accurate and will be typed and forwarded to each member.
- Ensure any correspondence is answered and responded to appropriately.
- Will carry out required administration tasks.
- Provide an agenda for each meeting to be circulated prior to the meeting, and include in such, policies due for review.

- Apologies
- Minutes of the previous meeting
- Matters arising from the minutes
- Correspondence
- Matters arising from the correspondence
- Reports (ie. financial reports)
- Policy Review
- General business
- Set the date for the agenda and next meeting
