Role and responsibilities
- Board Members are responsible to the Board and its Chairperson. They are also responsible to the wider community of KCNZ at all Annual General Meetings.
- To establish future directions, monitoring the organisations performance against its Mission Statement, goals, agreed plans and budgets and liaising with various people of the region.
- Evaluate and approve the Annual Plan and Budget as submitted by the KCNZ Treasurer.
- Ensure all aspects of KCNZ work are conducted in a proper, ethical and legal manner.
- Accept the Mission Statement and organisational goals and be bound by the decisions of the Board.
- Attend meetings regularly and prepare for meetings by reading minutes and reports.

Method of Appintment: The Board shall be elected and appointed by the Annual General Meeting
Length of Appointment: This appointment should be elected each year.
